GEORGETOWN CARNIVAL IS HERE

Airport Way S Between Lucille and Vale St
Come out for bands on three stages, interactive and community art projects, face-painting, tarot card readings, family-friendly fun and games, a quirky tribute to JP Patches (Seattle’s favorite clown), all types of arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, two beer gardens & a half-mile of killer bars, restaurants, art galleries & retail shops nestled in the eclectic brick buildings of historic Georgetown. There’s even a Side Show with a reality-show style art contest, aerial acrobats, a flash tattoo station and even more kids and adults art activities and an afterparty at Jules Maes Saloon! Make art, shop, eat, play games, drink, and dance with us!

This year’s Plate of Nations will be featuring over 70 restaurants! And this year includes the South Park neighborhood.
Plate of Nations, the signature event of the MLK Business Association, was designed to collectively promote independently-owned restaurants in the MLK community. Immigrants from around the world have settled in the Rainier Valley and started businesses that provide cultural favorites for ethnic communities looking for a taste of home. Those restaurant owners are excited to welcome other customers to join in their traditions.Taste the flavors of South Seattle, support locally-owned small businesses, and share with friends!

THE BUILD UP!
The Buildup was created during COVID and was a private event. This show was created for Artists by Artists to express themselves freely and get paid fairly while doing so. This show is a whole community experience. We rotate Artists and give opportunity to our local Chefs to create beautiful locally grown and sourced food for our community members and friends to partake. At this event you will experience live music performed by 3 different artists, small bites prepared by Global Chill, live painting and much more.
The Buildup is now being supported by Cultivate South Park.
